Foxes and Cogs [poster]

Long not been here. But I am still alive and hard working on various projects. When I'll have more time and less laziness I will update my deviantart page and maybe will be seen here more often. So far... here is the poster of my personal exhibition (oh, wow! I do paint and stuff).

Here is a description:

“Foxes and Cogs” – personal exhibition of Irina Frederika Tarvida.

On Friday, 10 May, at 6:00 p.m., a young artist Irina Frederika Tarvida will be welcoming everyone at the opening of her first personal exhibition. Visitors will be able to view the works created during this year and unified by the melding of two symbols that are very congenial to the artist.
The artist has graduated from the Professional Photography School and at the moment attends pre-study courses at the Art Academy of Latvia. It has to be noted that the artist, whose everyday life is made up by computer graphic design and photo editing, teaching dance classes, creation of choreography and fire shows, is obviously bind to her works not so much by the academic education as by something much more specific and fundamental – her intrinsic desires and feelings. That is why this first personal exhibition of the artist will allow the visitors to take a look at unusual symbolism and let them try to discover the unifying point for these two seemingly totally distinct notions – cogs and foxes.
The exposition “Foxes and Cogs” will be displayed in the exhibit studio “Radošo darbu galerija” at 9 Artilērijas street, where the visitors will be able to meet the artist personally and to have a look at her works which, despite the use of different techniques, together form a melding that entails one common concept.
